Will a fully accredited online Masters degree be enough to find a community college teaching position?
I’m thinking of going to Golden Gate University online program and when I’m done I will have two Masters Degrees one in finance and one in industrial psychology. The online degree is accredit by the WASC. I also have an undergraduate degree from a highly regarded institution. My work experience is relevant and somewhat impressive. I’m wondering if potential community colleges will discount my online degree? What will my prospects be like?
WASC = Western Association of Schools and colleges.
The Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) is one of six official academic bodies responsible for the accreditation of public and private universities, colleges, secondary and elementary schools in the United States and foreign institutions of American origin. The Western Association of Schools and Colleges has jurisdiction over the states of California and Hawaii, territories of Guam, American Samoa, Micronesia, Palau, Northern Marianas Islands, Pacific Rim, East Asia and areas of the Pacific and East Asia where American schools or colleges may apply to it for service.

Hmm I do not have very much experience in this, But as long as it is a fully accredited degree, I dont think they have a choice but to look at it as a normal masters, and with two masters you should have no problem landing a job as a professor at a community college.

An online degree in your competitors will ever be quite honest with an online degree academia still looks askance at community college level many of ones program in finance that is in terms of your field however you success.
The graduate level many of study realize that area there is currently high demand for finance will hold the phd so if you should also hold the community.
