What degree should a fire department lieutenant pursue for future career options?

I am a lieutenant in a paid fire department. I just finished by Associates Degree in Emergency Services. I’m looking into getting my Bachelors but I’m not sure in what. I am planning to retire from the department in the next few years and have been looking at the jobs in the Fire Service/government/code administration. I’m thinking that a business degree will give me more options but it will take me twice as long to get a degree in Fire Science. Any advice?
