I am interested in going to school to pursue a carreer as a paralegal. I would prefer to take online classes. I am confused with choosing an online school because I know some of the schools only offer a certificate that doesn’t really nessicaraily mean that your legit and its not as credible as taking classes at a college. How can I tell with the way they word it if the school is what I really want?

Ask them one simple question - are you “regionally accredited” to give bachelor’s degrees in paralegal or not. Yes or no.

If they say “no” or they waffle and try to tell you that being “regionally accredited” is not important, then run away as fast as you can, they are bogus.

I think you should look into programs at your local community college. They are more reliable and you will get a better training that will help you with your career.
