I am thinking about getting my masters degree and want to make sure that I don’t end up wasting my time and money. I don’t live close to a college and would prefer to take classes online due to my current schedule. Does anyone know how I can make sure that the program comes from an accredited and well ranked college? (a website) I already have a BS in Criminal Justice and plan to get my masters in that field. Any advice would be appreciated.

These courses are for my wife. We just had a daughter so she will have to stay home for a couple of months, she would like to make the most of her time and take some courses online. I live in Houston Texas and I graduated from an online college in November with an Associates Degree in Business Administration. It was good but I was to isolated from a lot of the world because I had to study a lot. Now I want to go to a college where the professor can talk to me face to face and I can talk to people in person. I just want to know if any will let me enroll? Some people say they may not.
